Overview
We are currently recruiting Team Members to join our restaurant team across multiple locations. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering excellent customer service.
As a Team Member, you will support both kitchen and front-of-house operations. Your main responsibility is to ensure smooth daily operations, accurate order preparation, and a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
Kitchen Duties
- Cook products quickly and accurately using kitchen equipment
- Prepare and cut ingredients according to order instructions
- Ensure all orders are correct and properly packaged
- Follow food preparation charts and quality standards
- Store food correctly to maintain freshness
- Keep kitchen and cooking areas clean and safe
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages or equipment issues
- Follow proper opening and closing procedures
Front of House Duties
- Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders at the counter and over the phone
- Process payments using cash registers or POS systems
- Handle cash, debit, and credit card transactions accurately
- Suggest promotions and menu items when appropriate
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas
- Resolve customer complaints calmly and professionally
Team Support
- Work efficiently during busy periods
- Support team members where needed
- Complete additional tasks assigned by management
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Experience in Front of House, Back of House, Cashier, Cook, Griller, or similar role
- Must reside within 15km of the job location
- Clear criminal record
- South African candidates preferred
- Age preference: 25โ40 years (not mandatory)
