Overview

Discovery is offering an exciting Learnership Programme in Long Term Insurance for unemployed South African youth who are passionate about building a career in the Financial Services sector. This structured programme combines classroom-based learning with practical on-the-job experience and leads to a nationally recognised qualification.

Participants will be placed within the Discovery Health Call Centre environment, supporting areas such as medical aid client servicing, claims, health benefits administration, and new business processing.

Entry Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric) with the following minimum results:
    • Mathematics: Level 4 (50%) OR
    • Mathematical Literacy: Level 5 (60%)
    • English: Level 4 (50%)
    • Second language: Level 4 (50%)
  • Basic computer literacy (especially MS Excel and MS Outlook)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • South African citizen aged between 18 and 25
  • Must not be employed or studying full-time
  • Must not have completed a previous Learnership
  • Incomplete tertiary qualification will be an added advantage
