Purpose of the Position:

Gerdau Retail is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Clerk to perform essential clerical and administrative duties at its retail outlet in Middelbult 92. The successful candidate will contribute to efficient store operations through effective inventory control, customer service, and administrative support.


Key Responsibilities:

-Oversee inventory control, including orders, receipts, shipments, transfers, price marking, and inventory counting

-Provide customer service such as compiling quotes, processing special orders, and handling product enquiries

-Operate the switchboard, assist with part-time sales, handle petty cash, and process bank deposits

-Perform general administrative tasks required for the smooth operation of the retail outlet


Minimum Requirements:

-Grade 12 (Matric) certificate

-1–2 years of relevant experience in a retail or clerical environment

-Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English
