Role Snapshots (requirements & duties)

1) Handyman (multiple centres)

Minimum: ABET/Grade 10; semi-skilled across plumbing, electrical, bricklaying, carpentry or mechanical; physically fit. Trade certificate is an advantage.
Skills: OHS Act awareness, power-tool use, basic MS Office, building layouts, teamwork, problem-solving.
Duties: Minor building maintenance and repairs; unblock drains; fit doors/locks; replace globes/plugs; relocate/repair furniture; quality checks on equipment delivered; weekly/monthly/quarterly building inspections; sign job cards; keep detailed maintenance records; oversee service-provider work; comply with OHS.

2) Security Officer (Mbombela & Middelburg)

Minimum: Grade 10 (ABET L2); PSIRA Basic Security Officer course; experience in security; Grade 12 & driverโ€™s licence advantageous.
Know-how: Access control procedures, movement of equipment/stores, emergency procedures, MIS/Protection of Information Act, Batho Pele.
Duties: Access control & visitor management; scan with walk-through detectors; prevent unauthorised entry and removal of assets; vehicle inspections; operate CCTV/control room; patrols, alarms, occurrence-book updates; apply emergency procedures; report breaches; support Court Manager as required.

3) Food Service Aid (Mbombela)

Minimum: ABET (NQF 2); hospitality experience an advantage.
Duties: Clean kitchen utensils/equipment; basic food & beverage prep; set up/serve; stock control; hygiene & safety compliance; waste removal; plate-waste/client-satisfaction checks; equipment condition reporting; table setup/decor; store-room packing.

4) Typist (Mbombela High Court)

Minimum: Grade 12; 35 wpm typing; MS Office; valid driverโ€™s licence an advantage.
Duties: Type orders, judgments, appeals, reviews, minutes, notices; amend judgments per instruction; compile & maintain term/week/unopposed rolls and registers; submit orders/judgments to stakeholders and SAFLII contact; manage incoming/outgoing files.

5) Administration Clerk (Middelburg High Court; Durban LAC โ€“ DCRS)

Minimum: Grade 12 (NQF 4); an NQF 6 in Records/related is an advantage (and driverโ€™s licence for DCRS).
Duties (general): Filing, data capture, stats, SCM clerical support, liaison with stakeholders, personnel & financial admin support, update expenditure;
DCRS focus (Durban): Court audio pre-checks, live recording, playbacks, fault reports, digital & manual filing, statistics, general court admin.

6) Employee Health & Wellness Practitioner (Midrand)

Minimum: Diploma/Degree in Social Science/Social Work/Psychology (NQF6, 360 credits), 2 years EHW experience, SACSSP/HPCSA registration, driverโ€™s licence.
Duties: Coordinate OCJ EHW programmes (EAP, HIV/TB/STIs, OHS, emergency drills, diversity & disability mainstreaming); assessments, referrals & counselling; training/awareness; data & reports; CAPAs follow-up; ensure POPIA-compliant record-keeping.

7) Judgeโ€™s Secretary (x2) โ€“ Land Court Randburg

Minimum: Grade 12 and LLB (or 20 LLB/Law modules/BA Law/BCom Law); 2 years legal secretarial/office assistant experience; valid driverโ€™s licence; typing test required; Court Online experience an advantage.
Duties: Full chambers support to a Judge: type/format judgments, orders, directions; diary, travel, files & records; statistics and expense reports; upload to CaseLines/Court-Online; coordinate rolls (Opposed/Urgent), heads of argument, reserved-judgment registers; in-court support as required; vehicle logbook & S&T claims.

8) Internal Audit Practitioner (Midrand)

Minimum: Diploma in Internal Audit (NQF6); 2 years internal audit experience; driverโ€™s licence; IT audit exposure an advantage.
Knowledge: GIAS/IIA Standards, PFMA, Treasury Regs, PSR/PSA, IFRS, AGSA processes.
Duties: Contribute to strategic & annual audit plans; plan/execute fieldwork; report findings; follow-ups; control evaluations; keep abreast of audit developments; audit admin.

9) Supply Chain Management Practitioner (Midrand)

Minimum: Diploma SCM/Economics/Finance/Logistics/Public Admin (NQF6); 1 year SCM experience; driverโ€™s licence.
Duties: Bid secretariat (BEC/BAC), specs & adverts, briefings, supplier database & quotes, purchase orders, receipt to Finance, contract administration (renewals, SLAs, performance), tender portal monitoring, proposal compilation, records & meeting support.

10) Senior Administrative Officer โ€” Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting (Midrand)

Minimum: National Diploma Public Administration (NQF6); 2 years MER experience; driverโ€™s licence.
Duties: Verify and analyse performance statistics (e.g., default judgments, taxations, warrants of liberation), consolidate quarterly & annual performance information, support auditable Annual Report production, compile submissions and maintain MER administration.
