Official: Keagan Dolly Signs With Cape Town City

Veteran winger Keagan Dolly has found a new home after leaving TS Galaxy, signing a one-year deal with Cape Town City in the Motsepe Foundation Championship. The contract includes an option to extend, marking an exciting chapter for the 32-year-old as he looks to help City push for promotion back to the DStv Premiership.

Dolly, who was spotted in the stands during Cityโ€™s goalless draw with Venda FC, joins the club as a free agent. His vast experience, both locally and internationally, will be a major asset as the Cape side looks to rebuild and fight for a return to top-flight football.

A Career Comes Full Circle

This move is a return to familiar territory for Dolly, whose professional journey began in Cape Town with Ajax Cape Town (now Cape Town Spurs). His early promise led to stints with Mamelodi Sundowns, where he lifted multiple trophies, and a move to French Ligue 1 side Montpellier in 2017.

After his return to South Africa with Kaizer Chiefs and more recently TS Galaxy, Dolly also represented Bafana Bafana at the African Nations Championship earlier this year, showing his enduring quality on the field.

Cityโ€™s Ambition

Cape Town City officials believe Dollyโ€™s leadership and versatility will play a key role in their quest for promotion. With his proven ability to change games and mentor younger talents, his arrival is seen as a significant boost for the squad.

Fans in the Mother City will now be eager to see Dolly back on the pitch where his professional story began, hoping he can guide the club back to the heights of South African football.
