Overview

Cape Union Mart International is seeking a passionate and motivated Part-Time Sales Assistant to join the Kyalami branch. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service, driving sales, and creating an inspiring shopping environment aligned with the brand’s outdoor and lifestyle culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service using professional selling techniques.
• Meet and exceed individual sales targets consistently.
• Drive turnover by identifying opportunities to maximize sales.
• Maintain housekeeping and uphold visual merchandising standards.
• Implement stock loss controls and ensure store security measures are followed.
• Contribute to creating an inspiring and customer-friendly environment.

Entry Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months retail experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Clear criminal record.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage customers confidently.
• Knowledge of clothing trends and/or outdoor lifestyle (depending on the brand focus).
