The ideal candidate will support warehouse operations and handle occasional local deliveries while ensuring compliance with company standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Duties:
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods.
- Pick, pack, and label items accurately for dispatch.
- Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles.
- Conduct routine stock counts and maintain inventory records.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards.
- Assist with general maintenance and warehouse upkeep.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily operational targets.
Driving Duties:
- Deliver goods to customers and between branches using a Code 10 vehicle.
- Ensure timely, safe, and professional delivery of stock.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logbooks.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 certificate
- Valid Code 10 Driver’s Licence with a valid PDP
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse and delivery environment
- Clear criminal record
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety practices
- Understanding of inventory documentation and delivery procedures
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
