Overview

Carrus Group is seeking experienced Pickers to join its warehouse operation in Atlas, Boksburg. Successful candidates will be responsible for accurate order picking using a PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must reside in Boksburg.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pick customer orders accurately using a PPT machine in line with pick slips/scanner instructions.
  • Verify product codes, quantities, and batch/lot numbers; meet daily pick-rate and accuracy targets.
  • Stage, wrap, and label picked stock for dispatch; hand over to the loading team.
  • Perform basic pre-use checks on PPT equipment and report defects immediately.
  • Update stock movements on handheld scanners/WMS and complete basic paperwork.
  • Support cycle counts, stock takes, and FIFO/FEFO practices to minimise shrinkage.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and comply with all safety, PPE, and HSE requirements.
  • Assist with receiving, returns, and other general warehouse duties as needed.

Requirements & Skills

  • Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
  • 1โ€“2 yearsโ€™ proven picking experience in a warehouse/distribution environment.
  • Valid PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) licence/certificate.
  • Must reside in Boksburg and be available for shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends.
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual handling tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail, basic numeracy, time management, and teamwork.
  • Safety-conscious, reliable, and punctual.

Remuneration

  • Market related.
