Overview

Carrus Group is recruiting experienced warehouse professionals in Clayville: Reach Truck Drivers, Forklift Drivers, and Pickers with a valid PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) licence. Successful candidates will support fast-paced distribution operations with safe materials handling, accurate order fulfilment, and strict adherence to health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate reach trucks, forklifts, and/or PPTs to move, stack, and stage stock.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately according to pick slips/scanner instructions.
  • Load and offload vehicles; wrap, label, and stage pallets for dispatch.
  • Perform pre-use inspections on MHE (materials-handling equipment) and report defects immediately.
  • Maintain real-time stock movement records on scanners/WMS and complete basic paperwork.
  • Assist with receiving, binning, replenishment, cycle counts, and stock takes (FIFO/FEFO).
  • Uphold housekeeping (5S) and comply with all HSE, PPE, and company SOP requirements.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and teammates to meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.

Requirements & Skills

  • Grade 12 (Matric).
  • 3โ€“5 yearsโ€™ recent warehouse/distribution experience.
  • Valid licences/certificates relevant to the role youโ€™re applying for:
    • Reach Truck licence (for Reach Truck Driver role)
    • Forklift licence (for Forklift Driver role)
    • PPT licence (for Picker with PPT role)
  • Proven track record in picking, packing, and safe stock movement.
  • Physically fit; able to handle manual handling tasks and work shifts/overtime when required.
  • Strong attention to detail, basic numeracy, and familiarity with scanners/WMS.
  • Safety-conscious, reliable, punctual, and a cooperative team player.

Remuneration
