Introduction
SPAR Group is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Real Estate Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support across all Real Estate processes and activities. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth coordination of lease management, property documentation, reporting, and communication with internal stakeholders, retailers, and landlords.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced administrative professional with exposure to retail property, lease administration, and SAP-based environments, who thrives in a structured, fast-paced corporate setting.
Role Purpose
To support the Real Estate function by managing documentation, systems, reporting, and coordination activities that enable effective property operations, lease compliance, and informed decision-making across the business.
Key Performance Areas & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing administrative support including document collation, correspondence, and meeting summaries
- Preparing and collating Regional Guild and Property Committee presentations and packs
- Managing and maintaining the lease management system and lease repository (head leases and retailer-owned leases)
- Coordinating lease maintenance audit communication with retailers and landlords
- Managing and resolving lease billing queries in collaboration with the Finance department
- Extracting and compiling feasibility studies and market insight comparisons from service providers (e.g. Fernridge)
- Compiling reports for Property Services and Real Estate Management to track budgets, targets, and progress
- Processing purchase orders in line with approved procedures
- Providing real estate input to Retail Operations and Finance teams as required
- Managing travel arrangements for the Real Estate team
- Offering general administrative support to real estate and property services teams
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Bookkeeping or Office Administration
- Minimum of 4 yearsโ administrative experience in a service management environment
- Retail property experience (advantageous)
- SAP and web-based administrative experience (essential)
- Proven experience in a customer serviceโoriented environment

- Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (intermediate to advanced)
