Overview

The CCMA Gauteng Province (Johannesburg Office) is seeking a professional Receptionist to deliver a world-class front-of-house service. The role welcomes and directs visitors, manages a busy switchboard, and supports general office administration to ensure that clients and internal teams are assisted promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

-Provide reception and switchboard management: greet visitors, manage sign-in, answer and route internal/external calls, and take accurate messages.

-Direct clients to the correct departments and assist with routine enquiries.

-Maintain a professional reception area and uphold client service standards.

-Perform general office administration, including handling incoming/outgoing documents and supporting meeting room logistics.

-Escalate client compliments and complaints appropriately and timeously.

-Adhere to organisational protocols, confidentiality, and information-management procedures.

Requirements & Skills

-Grade 12 (Matric).

-2โ€“3 yearsโ€™ experience as a receptionist and/or switchboard operator in a professional/corporate environment.

-Strong verbal and written communication; poised, customer-service orientated manner.

-Proficient with telephone systems and basic office administration tools.

-Ability to prioritise, remain calm under pressure, and maintain a high standard of professionalism.
