Overview:
Totalsports, a leading sports and fitness retail brand under the TFG umbrella, is seeking a dynamic Sales Associate (120hr) to join the team at its Rosebank store. Weโre looking for a motivated team player with a strong passion for customer service, sportswear, and performance apparel. Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a brand ambassador by delivering outstanding customer experiences
- Understand customer needs and exceed expectations through product knowledge and service
- Track and achieve sales targets consistently
- Keep up with the latest trends in sport, fashion, and footwear
- Replenish and maintain stock to ensure the store is fully merchandised
- Seek and act on sales opportunities, driving revenue and engagement
- Assist with maintaining a clean, organised, and customer-ready store
Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 (Matric) is required
- Previous retail or sales experience will be an advantage
Skills and Competencies:
- Customer-focused with a passion for people
- Target-driven and motivated to meet performance standards
- Excellent communication (verbal and written)
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment
- Self-starter with initiative and high attention to detail
- Strong selling, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to build customer loyalty and resolve challenges
