Overview
Sandfire is inviting applications for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely installation of Motheo infrastructure, including electrical and process instrumentation systems, at the Ghanzi process plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, specifications, and legal requirements.
- Support the E&I processes, contributing to the effective delivery of infrastructure projects.
- Perform inspections and testing to ensure the reliability of installed systems.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with project schedules and quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and project management teams.
Requirements
- Diploma or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field.
- Proven hands-on experience in electrical and instrumentation installations in industrial or mining environments.
- Strong understanding of E&I standards, safety practices, and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
