Overview

SAPS Academy, Philippi is hiring eight Food Service Aids to assist with food preparation and maintain hygiene standards. If you are committed to teamwork, service delivery, and cleanliness, this role is ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve refreshments and meals.
• Support food service operations and kitchen duties.
• Clean kitchen equipment, dining halls, and maintain hygienic working conditions.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations.

Requirements

• A Grade 10 qualification will serve as an advantage.
• Display competency in post-specific core functions.
• Fluent in at least two official languages (one must be English).
• South African Citizen.
• No criminal/departmental convictions or pending cases (subject to security screening and fingerprint verification).
• Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
• Ability to operate elementary kitchen machinery.
• Willingness to work extended hours as needed.
