Overview:
The South African Police Service is seeking a qualified and experienced Integrity Management Officer: Polygraph Examiner to support its Risk and Integrity Management Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting integrity and incident-specific polygraph examinations in alignment with SAPS standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
-Perform integrity and incident-specific polygraph examinations.
-Provide polygraph services supporting the Directorate’s investigative mandate.
-Ensure compliance with information security standards and the Protection of Information Act.
-Supervise and manage human, physical, and financial resources within the unit.
Requirements and Skills:
-A Senior Certificate (Grade 12).
-A valid light motor vehicle driver’s license.
-Proficient in at least two official languages, one of which must be English.
-Must be a South African citizen with no criminal or departmental convictions.
-National Diploma/Degree (NQF level 6 or higher) in Policing, Information Technology, Criminology, Law or a related field.
-Minimum of 2 years relevant experience, with 1 year at supervisory level.
-Training in Psychophysiological Detection of Deception (APA-certified) will be an advantage.
-No visible tattoos when in uniform.
-Applicants will be subjected to security vetting and medical assessment in accordance with SAPS policy.
