Overview
Eskom is recruiting 15 Senior Inspector Security professionals for the Ingula Pumped Storage Scheme. The successful candidates will be responsible for protecting Eskomโs assets and interests by performing physical security duties in line with national legislation, Eskom policies, and National Key Point requirements.
This role is critical in ensuring the safety and security of strategic infrastructure within the Generation division.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform access control duties
- Conduct routine patrols
- Serve on reaction/response teams
- Execute emergency preparedness duties
- Perform guard duties
- Carry out general security responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Eskom security policies, directives, and standards
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications
- Grade 12 / NCV4 / N3 and Languages
- OR Diploma/Certificate in the relevant function at NQF Level 4 (minimum 120 credits)
Experience
- Minimum 2 yearsโ security experience
- Experience in guarding, patrolling, and access control
- National Key Point (NKP) training/registration
- Firearm competency
- Positive security clearance issued by the State Security Agency

- PSIRA Grade C or higher
