Overview:
FNB Botswana is looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Service Consultant to join their team in Gaborone. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about delivering excellent service and building relationships with clients. No prior experience is required, and full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
-Deliver professional and courteous service to customers across various platforms (in-person, phone, etc.)
-Process customer requests efficiently, including account updates, queries, and product applications
-Resolve customer issues within set turnaround times while maintaining high service standards
-Engage with customers to understand their needs and expectations
-Maintain up-to-date knowledge of FNBโs banking products, pricing, and processing timelines
-Support revenue generation and cost-efficiency initiatives
-Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure customer satisfaction
-Uphold service level agreements (SLAs) and comply with bank procedures and audit requirements
-Manage all customer-related information and documentation with attention to detail and accuracy
-Keep abreast of trends and developments in the banking industry, particularly in the mortgage lending space
Minimum Requirements:
–Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE) or equivalent
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work under pressure in a customer-facing environment
-Willingness to learn and grow within the banking industry
-Good time management and organisational skills
-Computer literacy (MS Office and general systems use)
