Overview:
Trollope Botswana International is seeking a committed and safety-conscious individual for the role of SHE Graduate Trainee. The position is designed to provide hands-on experience and training in safety, health, and environmental compliance in line with legal and ISO standards, company policies, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
-Learn and support the enforcement of SHE regulations, policies, and procedures.
-Gain working knowledge of occupational health, environmental compliance, and company-specific safety systems.
-Assist in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating safety hazards in the workplace.
-Develop communication and reporting skills for sharing SHE information effectively.
-Participate in site inspections, audits, and other compliance-related activities.
-Collaborate with teams to improve SHE performance and promote a safe working environment.
Minimum Requirements:
-Bachelor of Science in Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) or a related field.
-Foundational knowledge of SHE principles relevant to the mining industry.
-Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-Ability to convey safety-related information clearly and work collaboratively.
-Analytical skills to identify hazards and recommend corrective measures.
-Willingness to learn and adapt to demanding conditions.
-Able to work under pressure and maintain sober habits.
-Medically fit for duty.
-Valid Class B Driverโs License.
