Clicks Group is recruiting a Shop Assistant / Cashier for its Hilton Siding store in Pietermaritzburg. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about retail, customer service and delivering a positive in-store experience.
Job Purpose
To deliver service excellence through efficient customer service, point of sale (POS) operations and merchandising activities that create an exceptional shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute all point of sale (POS) activities accurately and efficiently
- Scan merchandise and process payments with high levels of accuracy, including ClubCard rewards
- Ensure safe handling of cash at all times
- Promote and enroll customers on the Clicks ClubCard programme
- Inform customers about promotions and special offers
- Deliver superior customer service as a brand ambassador
- Maintain merchandising standards and housekeeping according to store requirements
- Support the companyโs vision to be the customerโs first choice health and beauty retailer
- Stay updated on products, promotions and store events

Minimum Requirements
Education:
