Overview:
Clicks Group is looking for two customer-focused and reliable individuals to join its Pioneer Mall store in Lesotho as Shop Assistants / Cashiers. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates with strong customer service skills who are passionate about retail and making a positive impact in the community.
As a Shop Assistant / Cashier, you will play a vital role in delivering a pleasant shopping experience for our customers while ensuring accurate transactions, maintaining store standards, and contributing to our reputation as a trusted health and beauty retailer.
Key Responsibilities:
-Efficiently execute all point-of-sale (POS) activities, including scanning, processing payments, and balancing transactions
-Promote and enroll new members for the Clicks ClubCard loyalty programme
-Ensure safe handling and accountability of cash and card payments
-Inform customers about current promotions to drive product awareness and sales
-Offer friendly, professional, and visible customer service as a Clicks brand ambassador
-Maintain merchandising displays and general housekeeping in accordance with company standards
-Continuously update knowledge of products, ranges, and in-store promotions
-Contribute to achieving store targets by delivering a superior customer experience
Minimum Requirements:
- Education:
- Completion of Lesotho General Certificate of Secondary Education (LGCSE) or COSC equivalent (compulsory)
- Preference for candidates with at least 50% in Mathematics and English
- Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or retail/FMCG environment is advantageous
