Overview

Totalsports, part of The Foschini Group (TFG), is seeking passionate and energetic Shop Assistants to join their nationwide stores. This role is ideal for individuals with a love for sports, fitness, and customer service. As a Shop Assistant, you’ll play an important role in delivering excellent customer experiences, driving sales, and representing South Africa’s leading sportswear retailer.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a Totalsports brand ambassador by providing outstanding service.
• Exceed customer expectations by offering tailored solutions.
• Monitor sales performance and contribute to achieving store targets.
• Sell across a diverse range of sports, fitness, and lifestyle products.
• Identify new opportunities to increase sales.
• Replenish and merchandise stock to ensure the store is always customer-ready.

Requirements & Skills

• Education: Grade 12 (Matric).
• Passion for people, sports, and customer service.
• Target-driven and results-focused.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Strong selling, negotiation, and customer loyalty-building skills.
