Overview:

SAVF Klerksdorp Family Care Office is seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Worker to join their dynamic team. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community through social support, statutory work, and service delivery, particularly in the fields of community development and aged care.

Key Responsibilities:

-Conduct statutory social work and facilitate support groups

-Organise and manage developmental projects and volunteer activities

-Recruit, train, and guide volunteers

-Implement and monitor business plans

-Lead initiatives in marketing, networking, and fundraising

-Collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver effective community-based solutions

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

-Grade 12 / Matric Certificate

-Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work

-Registered with SACSSP

-SAPS clearance certificate

-Clearance from the Child Protection Register

-Valid Code 08 driver’s license

-Experience in community development and aged care services

-Strong interpersonal and communication skills

-Physically and mentally fit for fieldwork

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team
