⭐ Overview

Government Cleaners play a vital role in ensuring that all government buildings — including offices, bases, libraries, clinics, and administrative facilities — are kept clean, organised, and hygienic. 🛠 Responsibilities

As a Government Cleaner, your duties may include:

Sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, and vacuuming assigned areas.
Cleaning and sanitising offices, hallways, restrooms, kitchens, meeting rooms, and public areas.
Emptying waste bins and managing refuse disposal.
Cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
Maintaining cleanliness in common areas including stairwells, entrances, and reception zones.
Following established cleaning standards, health, and safety protocols.
Operating basic cleaning equipment (e.g., buffers, vacuum cleaners).
Ensuring safe use of chemicals and cleaning supplies.

📌 Minimum Qualifications

ABET or Grade 9 (some posts may accept basic literacy/numeracy only).
No experience required for most roles (training is often provided).
Ability to communicate effectively.
Understanding of basic health and safety practices.
Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour.
Ability to work independently or within a team.
