Overview

Steyn City School, an independent co-educational institution located in the scenic Steyn City Parkland Residence in Johannesburg, is seeking a responsible and experienced Bus Driver to join its dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the safe and timely transport of students and staff to and from the school.

Key Responsibilities

-Safely transport school children and other passengers between destinations

-Adhere to all traffic and safety laws

-Maintain a clean, mechanically sound bus at all times

-Ensure the safety and proper conduct of students while on the bus

-Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus

-Conduct pre- and post-route inspections

-Report any defects, accidents, or violations

-Attend safety meetings as required

-Assist with set-up at school venues and events when necessary

-Perform general maintenance and support duties when assigned

Minimum Requirements

-Matric (Grade 12)

-Valid Code 10 Driver’s License with a PDP

-Minimum 1 year’s experience driving with children

-Clean driving record

-Strong understanding of road safety and vehicle operation
