Overview:
Jet Home, part of the TFG group, is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Store Manager to lead operations at our Game City branch in Gaborone. This is a vital leadership role responsible for driving store performance, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring the ultimate customer shopping experience. Youโll be part of an energetic and fast-paced team committed to our vision of being the most loved value retailer in Southern Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
-Drive sales to meet and exceed store targets
-Control expenses and manage store budgets efficiently
-Minimize stock loss and ensure shrinkage is within company standards
-Manage a team including recruitment, development, and performance reviews
-Oversee in-store merchandising in line with brand standards
-Deliver outstanding customer service aligned with TFGโs strategy
-Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and uphold operational excellence
Requirements:
- Minimum education: Matric Certificate (or equivalent)
- Experience: At least 3 years of retail experience with 1 year in a store leadership role
- Skills & Competencies:
- Customer service excellence and relationship building
- Strong planning, organizing, and negotiation skills
- Sales strategy development and execution
- Ability to manage conflict and performance effectively
- Knowledge of policies, procedures, and compliance standards
