Overview

Bayport Financial Services is seeking a driven and dynamic Team Leader to oversee branch operations in Tutume. This role is ideal for a results-oriented individual with leadership experience in financial services. The successful candidate will be responsible for branch performance, achieving sales targets, managing agents, and ensuring exceptional customer service while maintaining compliance with internal quality control standards.


Position Purpose

To lead the daily operations of the Tutume Branch by managing sales performance, ensuring agent engagement, overseeing customer service delivery, and maintaining the overall functionality and compliance of the branch.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Initiatives

-Develop and implement local sales strategies aligned with company goals.

-Drive the rollout of new products and campaigns within the branch.

-Maintain a high level of professionalism and team development.

Stakeholder Engagement

-Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Tutume area.

-Deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients to close deals.

-Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to grow market presence.

Operational Management

-Oversee day-to-day branch operations, ensuring minimum agent staffing levels are maintained.

-Monitor branch performance against sales targets and ensure cost efficiency.

-Manage petty cash, commission payouts, and ensure proper daily banking procedures.

-Ensure branch facilities are operational, compliant, and well-maintained.

-Stay updated on industry trends and provide competitor insights.

Customer Service

-Manage customer relationships and resolve complaints efficiently.

-Ensure high service standards and adherence to client protection principles.

-Log and monitor customer queries and ensure application rejections are handled within KPI standards.

People Management

-Recruit, train, and mentor sales agents to enhance performance and productivity.

-Conduct regular feedback sessions and formal performance appraisals.

-Deliver training sessions on products, systems, and company policies.

-Recognize and reward high performance to motivate team success.


Minimum Qualifications

-Diploma in Sales & Marketing or a related field (NCQB & BQA accredited).

-Computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).


Experience Requirements

-Minimum 2 years of experience in the sales industry.

-At least 2 years of experience in the financial or microlending sector.
