Overview
VKB Retail, part of the VKB Group, is looking for a Temporary Admin Assistant to support our administrative operations in Harrismith. This position requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with strong administrative and financial processing skills. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing internal administration, supporting audits, and maintaining financial controls within the retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
-Maintain high administrative standards to ensure smooth operations.
-Assist in audit processes and ensure compliance with internal policies.
-Oversee and manage bank transactions and petty cash control.
-Process goods received vouchers and invoice completion.
-Handle stock claims processing efficiently.
-Organize and file relevant documents according to set standards.
-Minimize risks to the company by ensuring compliance with financial and operational policies.
-Provide excellent client service in all administrative interactions.
-Perform other general administrative duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
–Grade 12 / NQF4 qualification.
-Previous experience in the agriculture industry is an advantage.
–Numeracy skills and ability to handle financial documentation accurately.
–Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
-Strong attention to detail, precision, and accuracy.
-Ability to add value to administrative functions through efficiency and innovation.
