Overview:

The Department of Employment and Labour is hiring 32 Client Service Officers to be placed across multiple Labour Centres in the Eastern Cape. These officers will serve as frontline support for processing Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) benefits and ensuring accurate service delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for recent matriculants or individuals with strong customer service skills looking to grow in the public sector.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Senior Certificate
  • No prior experience required

Knowledge Required:

  • UIF legislation, Unemployment Insurance Contributions Act
  • Public Finance Management Act (PFMA)
  • POPIA, Departmental Policies and Treasury Regulations
  • Strong understanding of Department of Labour operations
