Overview

A leading national retailer is hiring 75 Till Packers across South Africa. These roles support fast, friendly checkout service and well-presented shelves that deliver a consistently great customer experience. If youโ€™re reliable, customer-centric and ready to grow in retail, this is for you.

Key Responsibilities

-Welcome customers using the standard greeting; offer assistance and product guidance.

-Pack customersโ€™ purchases efficiently at tills; ensure accuracy, care and speed.

-Follow standard operating procedures for shelf packing: correct facing, rotation and replenishment.

-Maintain outstanding store condition: clean, organised front-of-house, service areas and stockroom.

-Check quality, rotate stock, remove expired/damaged items; reduce shrinkage and wastage.

-Maintain hygiene, housekeeping and safe working standards (shop floor and back-up areas).

-Support cold chain: check temperatures and storage where applicable.

-Ensure correct pricing/labels and assist with basic merchandising displays.

-Escalate customer queries/complaints per the defined process; support colleagues and management.

-Adhere to security procedures and all store policies.

Requirements & Skills

Grade 10 minimum.

No prior experience required (training provided).

-Able to work shopping-mall retail hours (weekends, public holidays, shifts).

-Proficient in English; confident, friendly and customer-focused.

-Hard-working, reliable, well-organised and detail-oriented.

-Good interpersonal skills; a team player with strong service orientation.

-Self-motivated with a growth mindset; able to work under pressure and meet standards.
