Overview

Coca-Cola Beverages South Africa (CCBSA) is offering an exciting opportunity through its Visual Merchandiser Learnership Programme for 2025 / 2026. This programme aims to provide structured, work-based learning that builds the commercial and practical skills needed to serve customers effectively, grow sales volume, and uphold Coca-Colaโ€™s merchandising standards in retail environments.

Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience in the beverage industry, reporting directly to an Account Developer and working closely with the Sales Team.


Key Responsibilities

-Execute daily call schedules at designated outlets, ensuring adherence to planned objectives.

-Implement in-store merchandising standards, including stock rotation and display alignment with brand guidelines.

-Ensure product quality, availability, and visibility meet RED and execution scorecard benchmarks.

-Complete iRED surveys to evaluate execution standards.

-Guide and assist customers with using the MyCCBA online ordering platform.

-Support promotional campaigns to enhance brand presence.

-Provide relief support as needed under the direction of a line manager.


Requirements and Skills

  • Must have completed Grade 12 with:
    • Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy (minimum 40% pass rate).
    • English and a second language (minimum 40% pass rate).
  • South African citizenship is required.
  • Aged between 18 and 35 years.
  • Must be an Employment Equity candidate.
  • Must be willing and available to work six days per week.
  • Must be currently unemployed.
  • Must not be enrolled in another learnership or full-time study.
  • Must not have completed the same learnership at any company.
  • No criminal record or negative credit history.
  • Must consent to qualification, ID, and criminal checks.
  • A valid driverโ€™s licence is advantageous.
  • A post-matric qualification in Sales & Marketing is advantageous.
