Overview

Tataki Mine is seeking a qualified Water Plant Operator to manage the water treatment process and ensure a consistent supply of clean water for site operations. This role is essential in maintaining water quality and supporting health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

-Monitor water systems and quality parameters.

-Perform plant maintenance and equipment checks.

-Operate control panels and follow safety protocols.

-Test water samples and dose treatment chemicals appropriately.

-Respond to equipment alarms and system breakdowns.

-Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the water plant area.

-Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.

Requirements and Skills

-Diploma in Water and Environmental Engineering or Water Treatment.

-At least two (2) years of relevant water plant operation experience.

-Familiarity with mining water regulations is preferred.

-Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.

-Ability to interpret readings and troubleshoot water treatment systems.

-Attention to detail and commitment to safe working practices.
