Overview

Western Chrome Mine Kroondal is recruiting a Driver (Transporter) B1 to support underground and surface material transportation operations. This role forms part of the mine’s production and logistics team, ensuring safe and efficient movement of materials in line with mining compliance, safety standards, and operational targets.

The successful candidate will operate trackless mobile machinery (TMM) while maintaining high standards of safety, sustainability, and equipment care within a mining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate assigned transport machinery in accordance with mine procedures
• Ensure the machine assigned is maintained and kept in good working condition
• Adhere to sustainable development and environmental standards
• Follow Trackless Mobile Machine (TMM) procedures
• Report defects and damages immediately to the TMM Department
• Transport materials as required by mining operations
• Complete tasks within specified timeframes to meet production targets
• Maintain good housekeeping standards in all working areas
