Overview:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Grain Field Chicken, a division of Unitrans, is looking for a skilled and reliable Ultra-Heavy Motor Vehicle Driver (Code 14)<\/strong> to join our transport team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Prepare and inspect ultra-heavy vehicles<\/strong> before trips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Load, transport, and offload goods<\/strong> efficiently and safely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure all required documentation<\/strong> (trip logs, delivery records) is completed accurately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Comply with all safety procedures, SOPs, and traffic regulations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain a clean and professional vehicle appearance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Report any vehicle defects, accidents, or emergencies<\/strong> as per company protocols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure proper loading and offloading techniques<\/strong> are followed to maximize efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Work shifts, weekends, and public holidays<\/strong> as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Undergo required medical evaluations, training, and driving assessments<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

–Grade 12 (Matric) \/ National Certificate<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Valid Code EC (Code 14) driver\u2019s license<\/strong> with a valid PrDP<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Valid passport<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience<\/strong> driving ultra-heavy-duty vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–3 years\u2019 experience<\/strong> operating Superlink, Interlink, or combination vehicles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong knowledge of defensive driving techniques<\/strong> and vehicle inspection procedures<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to operate fire extinguishers<\/strong> and follow emergency reporting protocols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Own reliable transport<\/strong> to and from work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Medically fit<\/strong> and able to pass pre-employment screening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Clean criminal record<\/strong> and safe driving history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Must reside in Reitz or surrounding areas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Successful candidates must complete the following before starting work:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Medical evaluation<\/strong> to confirm fitness for duty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–USCS training modules<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Induction process<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Practical driving evaluation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Criminal record verification<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
