Overview:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A well-known grocery store is looking for experienced Code 14 Drivers<\/strong> to join their team on a permanent basis<\/strong>. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods safely and on time<\/strong>, following all traffic regulations, and ensuring vehicle compliance. This role is ideal for hardworking, reliable, and team-oriented<\/strong> individuals who take pride in their work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Vehicle & Delivery Operations:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct daily vehicle inspections<\/strong> and report any faults.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Deliver goods to clients<\/strong> on time and to the correct destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Load, unload, and secure items for safe transport<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Verify delivery instructions<\/strong> and obtain proof of delivery<\/strong> or signatures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain records of invoices, fuel slips, and working hours<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Follow vehicle safety rules<\/strong>, ensuring tyre pressure is suitable for the load.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Safety & Compliance:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Drive safely and follow all traffic laws and regulations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Report any road incidents, accidents, or violations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure vehicle license and PDP<\/strong> are valid and displayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain cleanliness and proper storage<\/strong> of the vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Verify the quantity of loaded goods<\/strong> before departure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Inform supervisors of any vehicle mechanical issues<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

–Matric (Grade 12)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Valid Code 14 (EC) Driver\u2019s License<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Proven experience as a Code 14 Driver<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to use GPS and navigation systems<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Must live within 25km<\/strong> of Epping, Western Cape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Clear criminal record<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Preferred Skills & Attributes:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Experience driving various truck brands and gearbox types<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Knowledge of long-distance routes<\/strong> and previous long-haul experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Physically fit and willing to undergo regular health checks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong time management and organizational skills<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
