Overview:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Phakisa Holdings (Pty) Ltd is seeking a dependable and experienced Code 10 Driver<\/em> for a 3-month fixed-term contract based in Epping, Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for running errands, transporting staff and goods, and ensuring the company vehicle is well-maintained and used in compliance with company and traffic regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Safely transport company staff, products, and materials to and from designated locations<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Assist with the loading and offloading of goods and staff luggage<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Adjust travel routes to avoid delays caused by traffic or road conditions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Adhere to road and traffic regulations and promptly report any fines or violations<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain accurate time logs for vehicle use and trips completed<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Report any incidents, accidents, or vehicle damage to management<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, serviced, and maintained regularly<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Perform daily handovers and vehicle inspection checklists between shifts<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Report vehicle defects or concerns immediately<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Assist the Shift Supervisor, Community Liaison Officer, or Site Admin Clerk with basic administrative tasks when required<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minimum Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Valid Code 10 Driver\u2019s Licence<\/strong> with Professional Driving Permit (PDP)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Previous experience in a similar driving role is advantageous<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Basic administrative skills and computer literacy<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong understanding of traffic laws and safe driving practices<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Punctual, reliable, and professional attitude<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to work independently and follow instructions<\/p>\n\n\n\n
