The successful candidate will focus on training internal staff, conducting skills assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards to enhance operational efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conduct internal staff training in line with the company\u2019s <strong>annual training plan and budget<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare and submit <strong>training levy rebate applications<\/strong> to HRDC for eligible training interventions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform <strong>training needs analysis<\/strong> by assessing systems, processes, and individual development plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop and recommend <strong>training objectives<\/strong> for staff improvement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Evaluate the <strong>effectiveness of training programs<\/strong> and implement corrective actions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design and implement <strong>assessment methods<\/strong> to measure staff competence.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop and prepare <strong>training aids, lecture notes, presentations, and demonstrations<\/strong> aligned with industry standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct <strong>trainee reviews<\/strong> and provide timely feedback to employees and stakeholders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create and implement <strong>development plans<\/strong> for individuals and teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drive <strong>Performance Management<\/strong> processes to align training with business strategies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facilitate and coordinate <strong>Learnership Programs<\/strong>, including:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Graduate Development Program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Artisan Development Program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Internships, Attachments, Sponsorships, and Apprenticeships<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guide and support <strong>job evaluation processes<\/strong>, including job description development and grading.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with <strong>safety, health, and environmental policies<\/strong> in all training activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Education:<\/strong> Diploma in <strong>Extraction Metallurgy<\/strong> or a related qualification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Certification:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assessor &amp; Moderator \/ Trainer Development Diploma (Mandatory).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervisory Development Program (Required).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Full registration with <strong>Botswana Qualification Authority (BQA) as a Trainer<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum <strong>4 years of post-qualification experience<\/strong> in the beneficiation field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least <strong>2 years at a Training Officer level<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Technical Knowledge:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strong understanding of <strong>training methodologies<\/strong> and competency-based assessments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with <strong>SHE Management Systems<\/strong>, including <strong>ISO 45001: 2018<\/strong> and <strong>ISO 14001: 2015<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Other Requirements:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be <strong>medically and physically fit<\/strong> to work in an underground coal mining environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to <strong>meet demanding schedules<\/strong> and work in a high-pressure setting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">APPLICATION PROCESS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/zentrofly.com\/bwjobs\/apply-for-morupule-coal-mine-vacancies-19-march-2025\/\">APPLY HERE<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Company: Morupule Coal MineLocation: Palapye, BotswanaClosing Date: 27 March 2025 Overview: Morupule Coal Mine is seeking a qualified Training Officer \u2013 Beneficiation to provide, facilitate, and coordinate technical training for the Beneficiation Department.
