Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, this permanent position requires an individual dedicated to delivering cost-effective customer service while adhering to safety and operational standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure cost-efficient delivery operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervise the loading and unloading of stock.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Communicate effectively with customers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform general administrative duties.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Protect company property and assets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Occasionally supervise subordinates.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain safety and housekeeping standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Load and off-load empty containers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handle returns from customers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sort stock and empties as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Educational Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Matric (Grade 12)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Professional Experience and Personal Attributes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Valid Code 14 (EC) License.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid Professional Drivers Permit (PDP).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2-3 years of experience in a Transport Distribution environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2-3 years of experience driving a horse and trailer combination.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good communication and customer relationship skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Numerical aptitude.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and public holidays.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Customer-focused mindset.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work well in a team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with the STRATO delivery app (advantageous).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>How To Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/zentrofly.com\/jobs\/apply-for-mechanised-20-ton-code-14-truck-driver\/\">APPLY<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>The Company\u2019s approved Employment Equity Plan and targets will be considered during the recruitment process.
