Overview:<\/strong>
Bidvest Facilities Management is seeking a qualified and reliable Truck Driver<\/strong> to perform logistical tasks involving the collection and delivery of documentation, merchandise, or equipment using a company vehicle. This role also includes support tasks within the office when required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Position Purpose:<\/strong>
To ensure timely and safe collection or delivery of goods, documents, and personnel while providing basic administrative assistance and maintaining proper records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Read and execute daily instructions for deliveries and collections<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Collect mail from the post office and distribute to relevant departments<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Deliver and collect documentation, equipment, and petty cash<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain a delivery\/collection logbook with tracking numbers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Transport staff to regional offices when needed<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain a message book to record and relay messages accurately<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Assist with office administrative tasks such as photocopying, shredding, and filing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Prepare document bundles and maintain the printer (paper loading, toner replacement)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Report equipment or machine faults for maintenance<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Minimum Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Matric (Senior Certificate)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Valid South African Code 10 or 14 Driver\u2019s Licence<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Valid Public Driver Permit (PDP)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Minimum 1 year relevant experience as a truck driver<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to read maps and operate GPS<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Basic motor fault-finding skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-First Aid Certificate<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Relevant on-site training (SOP, HIRA, Fatigue Management)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
