Overview:<\/strong>
Bidvest Facilities Management is seeking a qualified and experienced Tractor Loader Backhoe (TLB) Operator<\/strong> to join their operations team in Middelburg. The role involves operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently for various on-site excavation and loading activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Position Purpose:<\/strong>
To perform excavation, trenching, loading, and backfilling operations using a TLB machine, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards on-site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Operate and maintain a TLB safely and efficiently<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Execute excavation, trenching, and backfilling as per project scope<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Follow all equipment and safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Perform routine inspections and report mechanical issues<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Adhere to all on-site safety and environmental regulations<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Minimum Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Grade 12 (Technical Matric advantageous)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Valid TLB Operator license or certification<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Minimum 3 years of proven experience operating TLB equipment<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Physical fitness and stamina to work in outdoor, physically demanding conditions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Previous experience in mining or industrial environments<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Relevant on-site safety training (SOP, HIRA, Fatigue Management)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
