Overview:<\/strong>
The Lion Match Company (Pty) Ltd is currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Driver \u2013 Code 14<\/strong> to join the Warehouse Department based at Quality Products in Cornubia. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient, safe, and compliant delivery of goods while upholding the company\u2019s commitment to service excellence and safety standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Plan and follow cost-effective daily routes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure compliance with traffic laws and regulations at all times<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain open communication with the Warehouse Manager and dispatch team<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Perform and complete daily vehicle inspection checklists<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Report vehicle defects and complete maintenance reports<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Monitor and adjust routes based on weather and traffic conditions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Train subordinates aiming to qualify for driver positions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain valid and updated driver\u2019s licence and qualifications<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Comply with all Health and Safety protocols and reporting procedures<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Provide certified documentation when required for audits or compliance<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Minimum Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Valid Code 14 Driver\u2019s Licence<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Matric (Senior Certificate)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong understanding of logistics, route planning, and road safety<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Excellent communication and time-management skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Experience in warehouse operations or logistics will be an added advantage<\/p>\n\n\n\n
