The successful candidates will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, managing point-of-sale transactions efficiently, and ensuring high merchandising standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Perform all point-of-sale (POS) activities efficiently and accurately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Process transactions, including cash and card payments, while promoting ClubCard rewards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Handle cash responsibly and securely in line with company policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Promote Clicks ClubCard to achieve enrolment and participation targets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Highlight promotions and assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Maintain merchandising standards and store cleanliness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Provide exceptional customer service by acting as a friendly and visible brand ambassador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Stay informed about current product offerings, promotions, and store events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Education and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Essential: Grade 12<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Desirable: 50% in Maths and English at Grade 12 level<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Desirable: Experience in a retail\/FMCG environment in a customer-facing role<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Knowledge and Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Understanding of retail operations, including stock and cash handling<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of merchandising and promotional principles<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong communication, customer service, and organisational skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Computer literacy and numeracy skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Relating and Networking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Following Instructions and Procedures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working with People<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Planning and Organising<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coping with Pressures and Setbacks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Persuading and Influencing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Employment Equity:<\/strong><br>This position is aligned with Clicks Group\u2019s Employment Equity commitment.
