This role is ideal for candidates who are customer-focused and eager to contribute to a positive in-store experience through efficient service, accurate transactions, and merchandising excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Carry out all point-of-sale (POS) transactions with speed and accuracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Collect payment for goods, promote ClubCard rewards, and enroll new members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Safely handle and manage cash according to company standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Inform customers of ongoing promotions to influence purchasing decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Maintain a clean, orderly, and visually appealing retail environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Provide professional and friendly service as a visible brand representative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Ensure merchandising and housekeeping align with company standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Keep updated on products, ranges, and promotions to assist customers effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Education and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Essential: Grade 12<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Desirable: 50% in Maths and English at Grade 12 level<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Desirable: Retail\/FMCG store operations experience in a customer-facing role<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Knowledge and Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Basic retail maths and stock management procedures<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Understanding of merchandising and promotional strategies<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Computer literacy and numeracy competence<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Relating and Networking<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Following Instructions and Procedures<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working with People<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Planning and Organising<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coping with Pressures and Setbacks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Employment Equity:<\/strong><br>Clicks Group is committed to Employment Equity and encourages applications from all suitable candidates.
