Dis-Chem Pharmacies is hiring Retail Store Assistants<\/strong> across its various stores nationwide, including a new store opening at Newcastle Mall<\/strong>. This is an excellent opportunity for customer-focused individuals with strong retail and administrative skills. The role supports overall store management and ensures efficient day-to-day operations, in line with Dis-Chem\u2019s policies and service standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Handle and report customer compliments and complaints<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Build professional relationships with customers<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Resolve customer stock and service queries efficiently<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Perform point-of-sale duties, including managing refunds, returns, and shortages<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Process and verify store deliveries and invoices<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Assist with Distribution Centre claims and high-risk stock control<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Reconcile cash runs and ensure cashier float accuracy<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Prepare and manage branch change requirements<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain proper document control including float, petty cash, and cash on hand<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Liaise effectively with relevant departments to ensure operational efficiency<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minimum Requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Matric \/ Grade 12<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, SAP)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Previous experience in a retail environment<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong administrative and stock control knowledge<\/p>\n\n\n\n
