Overview<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The Limpopo Department of Health is hiring General Workers (Food Services) under the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP). The role involves food preparation, kitchen management, and compliance with food safety regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Complying with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards for food safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Preparing and cooking food based on standardized recipes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Serving food to patients and ensuring dietary compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Cleaning work areas, utensils, and food preparation stations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Managing food supplies and maintaining hygiene standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Grade 12 (Matric) plus a National Diploma in Catering and Hospitality Management from TVET at NQF Level 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Computer literacy is required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Knowledge of food safety protocols, inventory control, and food preparation methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed in food service operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
