This role supports food preparation, customer service, and cleanliness of the canteen and kitchen. Ideal candidates will have strong work ethics, good hygiene practices, and a commitment to excellent service delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist Cooks and Chefs with food preparation, especially salads and desserts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Serve food at the counter and ensure the serving area is well-stocked and clean.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Operate the cash register when required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain cleanliness of canteen tables, kitchen, and food service areas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Store and record leftover food properly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and safety regulations at all times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uphold quality standards of customer service and food handling.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide feedback and report complaints or compliments to management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in training sessions and team meetings as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist in stock handover and inventory control for your area of responsibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform any additional reasonable tasks as requested by management.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements and Skills:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be at least <strong>18 years of age<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Must have completed a <strong>National Senior Certificate (Matric)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work <strong>45\u201350 hours per week<\/strong>, including weekends and holidays if required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift throughout the shift.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good personal hygiene and cleanliness standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Free from skin allergies to food or detergents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enjoys practical,
