This role requires a proactive individual to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while promoting a safe work environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Minimum Requirements:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;<strong>Education:<\/strong> Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management or a related qualification from a recognized institution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;<strong>Experience:<\/strong> Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience as a SHE officer. Experience in transport logistics is an added advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Compliance and Monitoring:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure adherence to SQAS regulations related to transportation and workplace safety.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor driver qualification files and oversee the hiring and selection process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Review hours-of-service records for accuracy and compliance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure the drug and alcohol program meets regulatory standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Driver and Vehicle Management:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conduct and update training programs for drivers, including transportation of dangerous goods, load securement, and driving principles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure hands-on vehicle inspection training for all active drivers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor and maintain daily driver truck inspections and implement toolbox talks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaise with driver trainers and oversee driver training manuals and maintenance programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Safety Training and Site Management:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Deliver training in First Aid, Working at Heights, Firefighting, and Dangerous Goods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct yard safety checks and customer site inspections.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Act as the safety trainer and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Record Management:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maintain and update driver files, medical records, fire permits, and related documentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Oversee diesel management, including procurement, security, and policy implementation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr
