The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, assist with merchandising, manage stock levels, and process transactions at the point of sale. This is a hands-on retail role suited to individuals who thrive in a busy environment and enjoy interacting with customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist customers with purchases and queries in a friendly and professional manner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Process transactions accurately using various payment methods (cash, cards, vouchers, etc.).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handle loyalty card registrations and redemptions, including accelerated partners.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain shelves and displays with full product ranges, correct pricing, and promotional signage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Restock merchandise and remove expired or damaged stock promptly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in stocktakes and general inventory checks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Report low, damaged, or expired stock to management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with loading\/unloading of stock and ensure boxes are properly disposed of.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build promotional displays and ensure timely setup and removal of promotional material.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain awareness of current promotions and new product lines to effectively assist customers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Handle merchandise with care to avoid losses and shrinkage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uphold store standards in cleanliness, organization, and presentation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Essential:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grade 12 \/ Matric<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Up to 6 months of retail experience<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 1 year of total work experience within retail<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Advantageous:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Certification in Retail Business Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr
