Statistics Botswana invites applications for the role of Manager Data Protection. If you have expertise in data governance and compliance, this is your chance to make a meaningful contribution to national statistics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Job Purpose:<\/strong>
Administer the Data Protection Act and ensure adherence to data governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Implement and oversee data protection policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Address data-related inquiries and complaints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain and monitor data inventories and compliance frameworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Degree in Law, Data Science, IT, or related fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Minimum of 7 years of experience in data protection or related fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Certification in Privacy\/Data Protection is advantageous.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
