Overview<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As a Cashier at Cashbuild, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of all Point of Sale (POS) transactions. This role involves providing excellent customer service, ensuring the secure handling of cash, and maintaining accurate records for all transactions. You will also assist in stock management and support various administrative functions, all while adhering to safety and security regulations. Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Cash Handling<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Accurately handle all Point of Sale (POS) transactions and related documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure no goods or stock pass through the POS without being paid for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain accurate records of cash transactions, including petty cash and floats, ensuring no discrepancies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure the correct identification and capturing of goods on the POS terminal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Accurately capture the correct payment type received from customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain adequate change at all times and perform accurate cash-ups at the end of each shift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Drop daily takings into the Drop Safe\/vault and process transactions for other stores, deliveries, and quotes correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Administration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Sign, compile, and file all documentation related to the cashier\u2019s function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure readiness for business as per company guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
