Revenue Collection:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Sell postal products and services to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Collect revenue from private bag and box rentals, COD services, and other newly introduced retail services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>2. Process and Balance Transactions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Issue ordinary and telegraphic money and postal orders based on customer requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Cash postal orders, money orders, and pensions upon the presentation of valid identification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Record daily transactions into cash books for retail services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Balance books of accounts for retail services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>3. Mail Acceptance and Delivery:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Accept incoming mail, registered items, and parcels from customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Deliver outgoing mail items to customers at the counter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>4. Perform Mail Circulation Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Sort letters using primary and secondary sorting frames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Sort letters for private bags and private boxes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Report irregularities observed during mail sorting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Forward unclaimed letters to the Returned Letters Office (RLO).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Inspect posted items for damages sustained during transit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Process unclaimed mail matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Performance Indicators:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Balanced books of accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Increased revenue collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Required Skills and Attributes:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Computer proficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Knowledge of basic accounting principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Attributes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Ability to work under pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Proactive and approachable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Strong customer care and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Personally motivated with strong interaction abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Education and Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Diploma<\/strong> in Accounting, Business Management, or Business Studies with a minimum of <strong>2 years of work experience.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>OR<\/strong>: COSC qualification with <strong>6 years of experience<\/strong> as a Postal Clerk.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in postal services will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Instructions:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications must be submitted using the relevant forms:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>G.P. 103<\/strong> for first-time applicants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>G.P. 104<\/strong> for serving officers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications should include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Up-to-date and correctly filled performance appraisal forms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certified copies of educational certificates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Address applications to:<\/strong><br><strong>The Director, Human Resource<\/strong><br><strong>Mrs. Maseeiso Lenkoane<\/strong><br>Ministry of Information, Communications, Science, Technology, and Innovation<br>P.O.
